Zapping TV strengths its content offering with four new channels

Chilean pay TV OTT continues strengthening its content offering in its catalog, with the announcement of the incorporation of NASA TV (owned by the US space agency); the French channel France 24; Russian channel RT and Arirang, from South Korea.

The already mentioned channels are added into Zapping TV’s basic plan, which offers more than 80 channels for a USD 15 monthly subscription. In addition to these four new channels, the pay TV OTT has recently added others from the Discovery world, such as Discovery Theater, Discovery World and Discovery Science; Cuenta Cuentos, the platform’s new original channel with more than 250 stories of no more than five minutes each; and, at the end of 2019, it also added ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, ESPN +, Disney Channel, Disney XP and Disney Junior.

In addition, Zapping TV announced that it renewed its web player with a new design, and improved the streaming quality and speed of several of its channels, among other new features. Likewise, in April the platform announced its plans for international expansion to Peru and Colombia, for which it is in search of strategic investors.
