Chilean pay TV OTT Zapping TV announced the launch of its version compatible with Roku, in which it added the language-change feature. In addition, the company has recently reported that it is looking for strategic investors for its international expansion, focusing on Peru and Colombia.
‘One of the features that users most asked us for was to become compatible with Roku devices, so we are very happy to release the app. For us, this means a very important fact, since we know that Roku users increase every day not only in Chile, but also in Latin America’, said Gustavo Morande, CEO at Zapping TV.
The version available on Roku joins devices on which Zapping TV is already available, such as Android TV, Apple TV and Chromecast, as well as LG, Sony, Samsung, Philips and AOC smart TVs; which, together with iOS, Android and the web version, are all the available ways to access the chilean platform’s catalog, which includes more than 80 live TV channels, and is accessible in Chile for a USD 14 monthly subscription.
