Wom TV releases its first trial versions

As reported by specialized websites in recent weeks, the  ‘Wom TV’ app, by the Chilean mobile operator Wom, appeared on Google Play, showing its first trial versions. Up to now, the company has not expressed itself in this matter, nor has it informed the date when the new offer will be launched.

According to the information reported by different specialized websites, Wom TV features Canal 13 (Chile), Mega, Chilevisión and TVMas and other TV channels in HD, and will have live, on demand TV, catch up and other its available functions.

Recently, the operator announced it has started deploying  its FTTH network in Chile through the ‘Wom Fibra Beta’ plan, with an up to 300 mbps speed, which is symmetrical (the speed is the same both up and down); unlimited browsing without data consumption restrictions; 24-hour technical support and free installation. In addition, in April, the Chilean Telecommunications Subsecretary (Subtel) awarded Wom five of the six macrozones of the ‘Fibra Optica Nacional’ project, which includes the deployment of 10 thousand FTTH kilometers in the country. The network is expected to be ready in 2022.
