VTR features HBO Premium content for its customers with D-Box plans

Chilean pay TV operator VTR announced yesterday that its customers with TV Hogar Digital and Full Digital plans can now access the HBO Premium movies, series and documentaries catalog, without changing the price of current plans that customers have. The agreement guarantees access to the eight HBO Premium channels: HBO; HBO2; HBO Plus; HBO Family; HBO Signature; HBO Mundi; HBO Pop and HBO Xtreme.

Through this agreement, VTR includes on its catalog the best cinema and series genre programming, with recent premieres, box office hits and recently awarded series in both the 2019 Emmy Awards and the 2020 Golden Globes. In addition, the agreement includes digital rights that will allow VTR customers to choose how and when to watch them through the features of ReplayTV, the VTR VOD library and the possibility of accessing the channels through the OTT VTR Play.

‘We are including a Premium package in our customers’ TV plan with Hogar Digital and Full Digital TV plans, as part of our commitment to make the best content available and expand access to world-class programming. We are interested in improving the product and the experience of our customers’, said Guillermo Ponce, CEO at VTR.

Some of the HBO premieres available on VTR are the third season of ‘Westworld’, a series awarded with an Emmy, and the debut of the new miniseries ‘The plot against America’. Also included will be the second season of the Italian series ‘My brilliant friend’, the new Brazilian dramatic comedy about the LGBTQIA+ universe, ‘Todxs Nosotrxs’, and ‘Katy Keene’. In addition, through their d-Box, VTR customers will be able to have iconic series available to watch, such as ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Chernobyl’, ‘Succession’, ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘Euphoria’; outstanding Latin American productions such as ‘Entre Hombres’, and ‘Profugos’, documentaries such as ‘Leaving Neverland’ and renowned film productions such as ‘A star is born’ and ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’.
