Vivo to distribute Globosat content for mobile subscribers

Brazilian telecommunications company Vivo will distribute content from Globosat to its mobile subscribers, according to the agreement it signed with G2C, a Globo Group subsidiary. This way, Vivo’s subscribers will be allowed to access to streaming platforms offered by Globosat through their respective applications.

Globosat’s offer for Vivo includes Premiere Play (USD 21.51); Combat Play (USD 21.51); Philos (USD 4.01); Sexy Hot (USD 5.36) and Telecine Play (USD 10.20). Subscribers will pay for all these streamings monthly.

Streaming hiring can be done in Vivo application store, or by sending an SMS, in which subscribers receive a link to download the app. Payment will be specified in the telephone bill. To authenticate each subscriber, only Vivo telephone number is requested, with no need to provide any username and password.

Before the one ran with Globosat, , Vivo had already closed similar agreements with Amazon Prime, Fox, NBA, NFL, Discovery Kids and others.
