ViacomCBS to strengthen Pluto TV’s catalog in Brazil with BET

ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) announced last Thursday, March 18th that BET (Black Entertainment Television) will debut in Brazil on Pluto TV, on March 26th. According to the information reported by the company, the channel is available in 75 countries around the world, and is a leading provider of content focused on TV programming for Black audiences. 

The channel will bring Brazilian audiences some of the most watched series internationally, doubled to Portuguese, including titles like ‘Being Mary Jane’; ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’; ‘American Soul’; ‘Boomerang’, and others. In addition, from ViacomCBS they reported that more content will be added on its Pluto TV’s AVOD OTT, originally launched in Brazil in December 2020, months after the channel’s official launch.

According to ViacomCBS, Pluto TV is now available in 25 countries, including the US, UK, Germany, Spain and 17 countries across Latin America, and features over 43 million monthly active users worldwide.
