1190 Sports, responsible for marketing the international rights to broadcast the Brazilian Football League (Brasileirão), and Paramount+, ViacomCBS’s SVOD OTT, recently relaunched in Latin America, announced have this Tuesday, May 18th, an agreement to broadcast the Brazilian Football League’s A Series matches in English in the US until 2023.
According to the terms of the agreement, Paramount+ will stream all 380 Campeonato Brasileirão A Series matches live each season, from Saturday, May 29th, until December 5th, date in which the last football match will take place.

The first week of the Brasileirão’s 2021 will feature matches between the most relevant clubs in the country, including Flamengo, the last champion of the competition, who will face Palmeiras, champion of the 2020 Copa Libertadores. Other outstanding matches will be the one to be played by São Paulo and Fluminense, as well as the one that will face Chapecoense and Red Bull Bragantino.
