ViacomCBS Networks Americas announced an agreement to integrate its Paramount+ and Noggin SVOD platforms to Totalplay’s offering in Mexico. With the news, and since this last July 7th, the Mexican company is offering Viacom content to all its customers, who have the opportunity to hire them separately, or in a joint offer through a single subscription.
‘We are excited to partner with Totalplay to offer Paramount+ and Noggin for its streaming service subscribers’, said Rita Herring, SVP, Content Distribution at ViacomCBS International Media Networks Americas. ‘Both platforms offer a variety of premium content for the whole family, and are the perfect complement to the service that Totalplay offers’, she added.
As officially reported from ViacomCBS Networks Americas, Totalplay subscribers will be able to access the Paramount+ catalog, launched in Mexico in 2019, for a MX$ 79 (USD 3.5) additional monthly subscription. Some of the series available on the platform to watch on demand are ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’; ‘Killing Eve’; ‘Yellowstone’, and others. In addition, Paramount+ has several ViacomCBS titles, such as MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Channel and Nickelodeon. Some of them are ‘Acapulco Shore’ (including its recently released seventh season); ‘Jersey Shore’; ‘Catfish’; Latin American stand up comedy episodes and versions of ‘Are you the one?’ and ‘Just tattoo of us’ for Latin America (including Brazil) and the UK. Paramount+ also has a range of children’s content, including ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’; ‘Hey Arnold!’, ‘Big Time Rush’, and others.
In addition, and for an additional MX$ 49 monthly subscription (USD 2), Totalplay customers will be able to access the Noggin’s content catalog, for preschool children, with titles such as ‘Paw Patrol’, ‘Dora, the Explorer’, and others. The platform provides children and parents with entertaining educational content, focused on developing multiple skills, such as languages, sums and shapes.
Totalplay also offers its clients the possibility of accessing both platforms (Noggin and Paramount +) through a single MX$ 109 (USD 5) monthly subscription. In April, Viacom announced that it extended Noggin and Paramount+ free trial periods in Latin America to 30 days, and, in early 2020, it had announced a series of updates on Noggin. Additionally, StarTV has recently added Noggin and Paramount+ on its DTH platform. Apart from that, Nickelodeon Latin America had reported that Noggin will launch on ebooks, Android TV, Roku and other platforms.
