Viacom produces the first original Comedy Central series in Mexico

Comedy Central Latin America has started to produce its first original Mexican series, ‘Se rentan cuartos’. The series will be produced by Viacom International Studios (VIS) for Comedy Central through Endemol Shine Boomdog. It will be fully recorded in Mexico City and will be released throughout Latin America on October 30th.

The series will be produced by Viacom International Studios (VIS) for Comedy Central through Endemol Shine Boomdog. ‘Se rentan cuartos’ is focused on the story of a wealthy family that ends in bankruptcy and, after the rejection of their social environment, they have no choice but to start a new life, living in a a large and old house located in one of the most popular Mexico City neighborhoods, which becomes a guest house. This way, plunged into the world that they always despised from their privileged position, the family will learn  simplicity, humility and brotherly love lessons from these experience. The sitcom is scripted by David Hernandez.
