Pay TV market reported 4.640.925 subscribers in Venezuela in the first quarter 2018. According to National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel), this service continues lowing its subscribers since last quarter 2015.

Between December 2015 and March 2018, Venezuelan Pay TV lost 418.531 subscribers. Conatel stated that Miranda, Zulia, Carabobo, Distrito Capital and Aragua are the cities with the higher number of subscribers. They all exceed 2.2 million accesses, which represent 47% locally.

However, the largest number of subscribers is recorded in places without urban centers like the Amazon Region, where Pay TV penetration is calculated in a 155%.
