3 Screen Solutions (3SS), a leading software solutions for STBs and multiscreen digital entertainment provider, announces being chosen by the Uruguayan cable and OTT services provider TCC  to collaborate in the development of its next-generation TV service that will be will launch in 2020. The new TCC service will be powered by 3READY Android TV+ Multiscreen, the 3SS front end and the user interface framework solution with an Android TV Custom Launcher STB.

TCC decided to build its next service based on Android TV ™. Google’s initiative for service providers who want to offer TV products features the wide range of pre-integrated Google Play Store and Google Chromecast apps, together with Google’s Assistant. A key benefit for TCC is the interaction with its subscribers through a customized user interface to the brand. In addition, TCC will incorporate 3SS front-end solutions to its SaaS platform for the region’s pay-TV industry. This way, TCC will extend its technology, user experience and quality standards to other network operators in the region, in order to increase its current offer, representing more than 200 thousand subscribers. In addition, 3SS will carry out the integration of Google TV with Android Assistant, along with the enablement of 3READY Assistant, the innovation of 3READY that further enriches voice search.
