ESPN will launch all of its linear channels -ESPN Brasil, ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN Extra -this week in UOL Esporte Clube, the Universe OInline’s (UOL) sports content platform The measure extends the agreement between ESPN and UOL with effect from April 10th, 2018, which already includes ESPN Play in UOL’s sports OTT.
The agreement includes new options to guarantee access to football content and other disciplines without subscribing to a cable TV service. The offer includes access to the entire ESPN channels content and a VOD library with more than 60 movies and series produced by the US network. Among the available contents are matches of the English (Premier League), and Spanish (LaLiga) football championships, the US NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL leagues, tennis tournaments (ATP, including the US Open and Australian Open), and other disciplines such as extreme sports, cycling, eSports and rugby, both live and on demand. The catalog also includes access to ‘OJ Simpson: Made in America’, which won the Oscar for being the best documentary in 2017, and the documentary series ‘30 for 30’, winner of the Emmy in 2014 as best non-fiction program. Subscribers will also have access to the Brazilian Tournament matches from Palmeiras, Santos, Sports Club Internacional, Atlético Paranaense, Esporte Clube Bahia, Fortaleza and Ceará Sporting Club.

Subscribers may choose to hire any of the following packages: the first option is the Basic one, which costs USD 3.85 per month and includes partial access to live ESPN channel’s programming and content in VOD. New features in this offer are focussed on the inclusion of the ESPN Extra channel’s linear programming, which focuses on young and female audiences, together with eSports, extreme sports and ESPN Woman. The second package includes all ESPN products, with WatchESPN, platform with a more than 600 titles in VOD and live events, and linear channels catalog for USD 5.6 per month. The third one provides Esporte Interativo’s content for USD 5,14, and all ESPN and Esporte Interativo’s programming are available for USD 10.3 monthly.
