Turner premieres Brazilian boxer Acelino Freitas series on Space and Amazon Prime Video

Hermanos Freitas (Irmãos Freitas), Turner’s original Brazilian bioserie produced by Gullane and VideoFilmes, will premiere next October 20th on the Space screen in Brazil and, two hours later, on Amazon Prime Video. Three months after the end of the first season, it can be accessed in the rest of the region. The series tells the story of boxer Acelino Freitas, one of the biggest Brazilian sports icons.

Throughout eight 45-minute episodes, the series tells the love and rivalry story between Acelino and his brother Luis Claudio Freitas, from his beginnings on the outskirts of San Salvador de Bahia, to the first title of Acelino as a  world boxing champion in the ‘Super Pluma’’ category. Hermanos Freitas was created by Sergio Machado and Walter Salles, directed by Sergio Machado and Aly Muritiba, and was supervised by Walter Salles.
