The Walt Disney Company announced today the list of executives who will work with Hernan Estrada, General Manager at The Walt Disney Company Brazil, to lead the business areas in the country. Executives will report to Estrada and work together to manage the company’s operations in the country.
The new Disney structure in Brazil will be composed by Jose Franco, Head of Theatrical Distribution, responsible for films distribution; Giselle Ghinsberg, Head of Ad Sales, responsible for offering opportunities to partners in all brands and platforms within the company’s integrated portfolio; Cristiano Lima, Head of Content Strategy and Programming, General Entertainment, responsible for the content and programming strategy for the three linear brands (Fox, FX and Fox Life), the two Premium channels (Fox Premium 1 and 2) and entertainment platforms in Brazil; Carlos Maluf, Head of Sports, responsible for managing ESPN’s business in the country; Juliana Oliveira, Head of Digital Strategy and Operations, responsible for leading the commercial and digital strategy, coordinating the local execution of the digital strategies defined for each of the business together with local teams; and Ricardo Rubini, Head of Content Sales, responsible for content sales for FTA, basic and premium TV channels in the Southern Cone of Latin America and Puerto Rico.
The person assigned to be Disney’s Head of Affiliate Sales has not been reported yet. In addition, Disney announced the leaders of its service areas in Brazil, which complete the company’s local structure in the country. They will be Karina Alonso, Head of HR Brazil; Péricles d’Avila, Head of Global Public Policy; Camila Di Monaco, Head of Publicity & Corporate Communications Brazil; Giovana Marques, Head of Live Entertainment & Special Events Brazil; Eduardo Navarro, Head of Security Operations Brazil; Claudia Neufeld, Head of Marketing Brazil; Lucia Paolini, Head of Legal Brazil; and Dalmon Zapata, Head of Finance Brazil.
