The last panel discussion that will be held in the second Nextv Sport Latin America’s virtual edition, organized by Dataxis, is called ‘The boom of Esports in Latin America’, and will take place next Wednesday, May 5th between 1:00 PM (CDMX) and 1:50 PM (CDMX). Registration for this one and the rest of the panels can be done here.
Industry executives specially gathered by Dataxis to star in the last conference panel are Leonardo De Biase, Founder & Partner at BBL; Ignacio Estanga, Director of Content and Partnership Latam at Twitch TV; and Jonatan Cisterna, Channel Marketing Argentina, Chile and Uruguay at Temporada de Juegos. The panel will be moderated by Pablo Monti, Head of Gaming & Esports Content at TyC Sports. The main topics to be developed and debated throughout the discussion will focus on new storytelling models for esports; as well as esports integration in OTTs, pay TV and FTA TV: AI and AR for esports; multiplatform esports strategies; and other related issues.
Following the success of its first virtual edition in 2020, Nextv Sport Latin America 2021 will bring together the top executives making live sports broadcasting happen in a region that is home to some of the world’s most passionate fans. Recent changes in sports broadcasting consumption trends, which have been accelerated by the Covid pandemic, have forced rights owners, leagues, teams, TV networks and sports streaming services to reassess their short, medium and long-term strategy. The event will be sponsored by Accedo, Kaltura, Nunchee, WSC Sports, Bitmovin and Ross, and will take place on Tuesday, May 4th and Wednesday, May 5th, starting at 9:00 AM (CDMX) both days.
Registration for the Nextv Sport Latin America’s virtual edition is free for Latin American pay TV operators; FTA broadcasters; sports TV channels, OTT platforms, leagues, teams and associations, and telecom operators.
