Telemundo launches new spanish-language streams available on Amazon Alexa-enabled devices

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises announced it has partnered with Amazon to launch new Spanish-language content on Alexa, Amazon’s cloud-based voice service, available through the company’s Echo devices. 

According to the announcement, Telemundo will provide streams of its top TV programming. including top series and special reports from award-winning ‘Telemundo Noticias’, and shows like ‘Al rojo vivo’, ‘Suelta la sopa’ and ‘Un nuevo dia’. Content will be accessible through Alexa en Español or multi-language mode. To enable news streams, Amazon clients must enter the ‘Flash Briefing’ feature, in the Alexa App.

Alexa customers will be able to play content from each Telemundo TV program by asking for it through voice commands. These news streams will be updated daily, Monday through Friday, and will be available in real-time while the show has aired on broadcast TV.
