Telefonica launches Home Assist, with home assistance for smart TVs installation in Brazil

Telefonica, whose operations in Brazil are known as Vivo, launched Home Assist, a home assistance service in the country for its customers to have the best experience with their devices. Technical support can be requested for electronic devices installation, configuration and orientation at the home, including TVs, Home Theaters, cameras, computers, printers and Wi-Fi networks. Starting in September, new Teleónica Brazil broadband customers will have the option to hire the service and use it for 30 days after installation.

‘We are always taking care of our customers needs. Home Assist was born from looking at the moment when customers hore the Vivo Fibra plan, which can happen before moving home or when buying a new smart TV, for example. Customers want the best connection, in order to have the best experience with their products, or in their new home, and often devices installation and integration demands a specialized service. With Home Assist, clients hire Vivo Fibra and they do not need to worry about this process. We want to help them get all the benefits that Vivo Fibra can provide quickly and easy’, said Gustavo Nobrega, Marketing Director at Telefonica Brazil. (winecountry.com)

Home Assist will have two ways of assistance, depending on the problem to be solved: remote (seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays), and personally. Vivo Fibra customers in Brazil will have an up to 50GB bonus each month in Telefónica’s mobile plans for 12 months.

Vivo executives are confirmed in the coming Nextv Series Brazil edition, leading conference organized by Dataxis. The event will take place next December 4th at the Maksoud Plaza Hotel, in San Pablo.
