ArpuPlus, a subsidiary of digital products and technology company A15 and MENA’s biggest content aggregator with more than 200,000 pieces of diversified content, has rolled out Shofha smart application to allow subscribers and users of its video-on-demand (VOD) portal ‘Shofha’ to access the content platform on their smart phones with just one click.
Shofha’s new smart app has been intended to provide subscribers a much faster performance with the use of locally stored data on their devices. It is introduced in the MENA region and will also be accessible in Europe and US soon.
Furthermore, Shofha will also introduce its SMART TV app this year. The SMART TV app will additionally improve the entertainment experience by allowing users to enjoy the content on bigger screen types.
Apart from offering easy access Shofha content catalogue, the smart application provides a more personalized experience as well. This personalization will consist of the preferences of users based on their watching history to make most relevant recommendations. Furthermore, it will bring users closer to the brand by offering better communication in the form of notifications and updates. The user-friendly front end will also contribute and keep customer loyalty by making users come back for more.

Shofha platform was introduced in 2016 to offer the best video streaming experience to subscribers. Presently available in 13 MENA countries, the platform’s library comprises of an array of content of around 100,000 minutes that include Arabic movies, series, the top plays that are well known among Arab audiences, and many more.
