StarzPlay, premium streaming platform launched by the global media and entertainment company Starz in 2018, announced an international expansion that includes Latin America and Europe. The countries where it has currently arrived are Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, and it is available as an Apple TV channel in the app named the same, for customers that use iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Samsung Smart TVs.
With this expansion, customers can enjoy StarzPlay premium content, which includes exclusive and original series such as The Spanish Princess, and the second full season of the Vida series, already available on the platform, while being broadcast in the US. In addition StarzPlay features curated first acquired content offered in a catalog of blockbuster and fan-favourite movies across various territories. The platform’s subscribers can watch content online or enjoy offline downloads of their favourite shows and movies available.
The global expansion of the OTT adds to that already started in the Middle East and Africa. It is estimated that, by July 1st, it will be available in 51 countries in a global scale.
