StarTV adds Noggin and Paramount+ on its DTH platform

Mexican pay TV operator StarTV announced that Noggin and Paramount+ catalogs will offer be available in June on its DTH platform. The company’s customers will be able to access the Noggin catalog for a MX$ 49 (USD 2) monthly subscription, and the Paramount+ offer for MX $ 79 (USD 4) per month.

‘Paramount + is a ViacomCBS SVOD OTT where, for just MX $ 79 (USD 4) a month, StarTV customers can enjoy more than 150 movies and 2000 episodes of the region’s most popular and critically acclaimed series, like ‘Killing Eve’ and ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’, which premieres exclusively in Latin America on this platform with its new seasons’, said Bruno Pruneda, General Manager at StarTV. And added: ‘Noggin is a 100% children’s OTT, where our little clients will not only be able to access their favorite cartoons, but also learn online and have access to interactive games. Any StarTV customer for only MX $ 49 (USD 2) per month will be able to access it’.

The executive described having ViacomCBS within StarTV’s offer of linear channels as ‘a privilege’, noting that, in June, the DTH welcomes Paramount+ and Noggin to its content catalog. Likewise, the executive thanked Viacom CBS management team, including Laura Perez, General Manager for North Latin America at ViacomCBS Networks Americas), for the trust and synergy achieved since the start of the DTH operations.

Noggin and Paramount+ join StarTV’s effort to add OTT offerings to their catalog. Some of the latest content added include Claro Sports, which joined the company’s linear channels offer, and other platforms such as HBO GO, HotGO and Fox App.
