Sportv Series Latin America & US Hispanic consolidates itself as the annual meeting of the sports business on TV and OTT

Sportv Series Latin America & US Hispanic, on its second edition, will aim to give an explanation to the growing interest in the convergence of TV technology and the sports business development in the region. The virtual conference will be held next Tuesday, October 6th and will focus on how new technologies are changing the sports business on TV. The virtual event, which will feature digital panels and stands, is positioned as the annual meeting of the main players in the TV business in the region.

The event is sponsored by Irdeto, Flowics, Insys Video Technologies, Friends MTS and Accedo. Important executive panelists from Directv Sports, Turner, TUDN, Claro Sports, Fox Sports, Fanatiz, Poipes, Concacaf, MLS and TV Azteca, and many others, will participate in the debate.

Sportv Series will bring together more than 400 executives from sports leagues, clubs, teams, rights owners, pay TV operators, telcos, broadcasters, OTT platforms and the entire media and entertainment industry, to discuss cutting-edge trends and future technological insights that will transform the global sports ecosystem.

Some of the main topics to be debated at the event will focus on how to introduce the esports boom on pay TV; how to negotiate sports broadcasting rights agreements in the context of Covid-19 and fan engagement in the new normality, with no audiences in stadiums.
