Days after the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) announced the companies that submitted their offers for the Professional Football League TV broadcasting rights in the country, such as Tigo (Millicom) and GolTV (Tenfield), finally Sports TV Rights will be the one who will own the rights to broadcast Bolivian local football for the 2021-2024 period, as confirmed by Omar Dorado, FBF’s Deputy General Secretary.
Sports TV Rights offer includes the TV broadcasting rights for Bolivian Professional and B Football Leagues and the VAR implementation, and is valued at USD 46.5 million. According to specialized websites, it is estimated that the Sport TV Rights offer will be made official in the next few days, with an official agreement.
Sports TV Rights currently owns the license to broadcast the Professional and B Division of Football in Bolivia, which is in force until the end of the year. With this news, the company will continue to market the matches for the next four years, either by sub-licensing them, or offering them in packages to pay TV operators and TV channels.
