Brazilian telecommunications company Sky (AT&T) announced on Wednesday the launch of its new ‘Sky Connect’. It is a new smart STB with Android TV (Google) operating system. The device has already been officially launched for the company’s postpaid customers, but its price was not reported yet.
According to information reported on various specialized websites in the country, the new STB includes a smart speaker integrated with Google Assistant, which gives answers to voice commands made remotely and allows various actions to be implemented, such as changing channels, adjusting the volume, open applications and search for content, without using the remote control.

In addition, whoever uses the device can connect a gamepad through a Bluetooth connection to play games. The device also provides access to 4K content, and also includes a remote control with direct access to Netflix, and other features.
‘Sky has always been a pioneer in terms of technological innovations and strategic partnerships, always with the aim of bringing our subscribers throughout Brazil not only the best content, but also the best consuming experience.
