Sky Brazil takes Sky Play to the next Rock in Rio edition

The pay TV company Sky Brazil confirmed that it will take part of the next Rock in Rio edition, one of the largest music festivals worldwide, which will celebrate its ninth edition during September and October in the Olympic Park of Rio de Janeiro. The company will have its own stand, called ‘Sly Play Rock’, where Sky Play, the company’s VOD platform, will be one of the main attractions.

‘We want to strengthen our entertainment know-how and and show the best that we have in SKY Play: its content. We are designing this project so that the audience in the festival can interact with our platform. Films, series and songs have many points in common, and we are going to make tangible this mixture in the event’, expressed Alex Rocco, Marketing Director at Sky Brazil. It will be the fifth consecutive time in which Sky Brazil is present in the event as a media partner.

In previous editions, Sky also had a prominent participation in the festival. During them, it  ran agreements with companies such as Harley-Davidson and Fender, one of the largest guitar manufacturers in the world. It also brought influential celebrities to the event, and even set up a special rock structure to promote marriages between fans.

The company offers TV plans for pre and postpaid clients, as well as broadband connection for certain regions. All subscribers also access to Sky Play.
