Sky Brazil announced the launch of the PPV movie rental service for its prepaid customers. Access is now available, and a films portfolio with rental values between R $ 14.90 (USD 3.6) and R $ 18.90 (USD 4.6) is offered.

To make movie rentals, Sky subscribers must have an active Smart or higher recharge packages. The complete catalog of titles is available on the operator’s channel 1, and the rental must be made by telephone and pay it via credit card. The possibility of renting movies through the  Minha Sky app will be enabled soon.

‘Currently, only around 400 cities in Brazil have movie theaters available and, with the launch of the PPV feature, customers will have the possibility to access, from their homes, the recently released launches in the different cinemas’, said Evandro Marchetto, Prepaid Products Director at Sky Brazil.

On SD devices, movies can be accessed on channels 281 and 285, and on HD devices, the enabled channels are from 281 to 290. The available catalog will be updated periodically with film releases and successes.
