Sky Mexico and the Mexican Pacific League announced this week an agreement that grants the Mexican operator the rights to broadcast all games of the Mexican Pacific League (MLP) and the Caribbean Series, starting in the 2020-2021 season.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sky will broadcast all the MLP games live and for HD to Mexico, Central America and the Dominican Republic. There will be 340 games in total, counting the regular ones and those corresponding to the post season of the baseball competition. Similarly, Sky will broadcast for Mexico all the Caribbean Series matches. Sky subscribers can enjoy each game live on their mobile devices through the Blue To Go Video Everywhere app, or access the five daily LMP games, available in the VeTV offer.
‘Our commitment is to grant varied sports options to our subscribers. We will produce 16 thousand live hours , which is a great human effort to provide the highest level content. We needed the Mexican Pacific League. We already have the LMB (Diablos Rojos and Sultanes teams from Mexico and Monterrey), and now we will also have the Caribbean Series 2021 exclusively for Mexico, which will be disputed in Mazatlan’, said Juan Carlos Muñoz Vazquez Sky Programming Director.
