Ecuadorian FTA TV channel Ecuavisa reported that its ‘Si, se puede’ production, originally announced last year, became the first Ecuadorian series to arrive at Amazon Prime Video, where it has been available since March 6th through Amazon Prime Video Direct.
The Ecuadorian production plot focuses on the first time that the Ecuadorian National Team managed to qualify for a World Cup, a fact that took place at the 2002 World Cup in Korea-Japan. According to information reported by Ecuavisa at the end of March , “Yes, you can” spans 95 episodes and will be available on Amazon’s OTT for a one-year-period.
‘Being the first Ecuadorian series on Amazon Prime Video Direct gives a second life to this project, where we are going to discover new audiences and territories. The aim of a content, which has so much love and work behind it, is that it reaches as many people as possible’, reported Ana Cecilia Alvadaro, VP Business and Talent Development at Ecuavisa Studios. As officially reported by Ecuavisa, the executive has run an agreement between Ecuavisa Studios and Mgenetworktv (Fox Corporation), thanks to which the series is available on Amazon’s OTT platform.
Leticia Viola, Digital Manager at Ecuavisa, is one of the confirmed speakers in the ‘Andean FTA broadcasters turning to AVOD+SVOD’ panel, which will take place during the first Nextv Series Andean edition, a new virtual event organized by Dataxis. The panel will take place next Wednesday, April 21st between 9:00 AM and 9:50 AM (COT). Registration for this one and the rest of the event panels can be done here.
