Media personality Minnie Dlamini and her husband Quinton Jones are bringing compelling African stories to the screen with a new film titled Goodbye Gogo. The movie has dropped just in time for Heritage Day.
Goodbye Gogo is already available on Showmax and has Quinton and Minnie both as co-writers and executive producers, it tells the story of a rich matriarch who, on her deathbed, wishes to repair her broken relationships with her family. Mrs. Linah Dlamini (Gogo), the matriarch who is dying of cancer, is played by veteran thespian Thembi Mtshali-Jones. Goodbye Gogo also stars, The Throne star Keke Mphuti and Uzalo actor Sizwe Khumbuza.
It has to be noted that the film is the directorial debut of Safta-nominated actor Neo Ntlatleng (Zone 14) and Alex Hlabangane.
