Samsung smart TVs are also offering access to HBO Max in Argentina

The multinational company Samsung has officially announced on Tuesday that  its smart TVs in Argentina will offer access to HBO Max, WarnerMedia’s (AT&T) SVOD OTT, officially launched this week in Latin America. According to the information reported by the company, HBO Max will be available for all Samsung smart TV 2020-2021 models, as well as for Samsung 4K smart TVs or higher, from the 2016 model.

‘Samsung TVs feature the best image and sound technologies on the market, which gives consumers an immersive experience to watch any content’, reported Celso Barros, Senior Manager of Visual Screens at Samsung Latin America. ‘This partnership will strengthen our commitment to offer varied entertainment options for the whole family’, added the executive.

This way, Samsung joins the list of partners that are now distributing HBO Max in Argentina, such as Antina, Bahia Vision Color, CableVideo, Colsecor, DirecTV, El Cuatro Jujuy, Express, Cablevision Flow, Gigared, Mercado Libre, Telecentro and Movistar. The platform includes titles from HBO, Warner Bros, DC Universe, Cartoon Network, Max Originals produced in Latin America, and others. On the other hand, and as a way of promoting its Latin American launch, those who subscribe to HBO Max through its official website until July 31st, will get a 50% discount on the value as long as they keep their subscription active.
