The Spanish public broadcaster RTVE announced the launching of its OTT platform ‘RTVE Play’ in Latin America, USA and Canada.

The already mentioned service will allow users to  enter to RTVE premium content through a monthly subscription. It will be available in rtveplay.com, and also in an app for Android and iOS.

Rosa María Mateo, administrator of RTVE, said: “RTVE Play is a very important step in our strategy to expand the reach of the best Spanish content on TV overcoming territorial limitations and using all the resources that technology has to offer”.

Some of the productions that RTVE will include are ‘Isabel’; ‘Estoy vivo’; ‘Carlos Rey emperador’; ‘Amar en tiempos revueltos’ and ‘Cuéntame cómo pasó’.
