On Monday, September 2nd, RTVE, Boomerang TV and Chilevision will start filming Ines del alma mia, novel by Chilean writer Isabel Allende. It will be released on FTA TV on RTVE and Chilevision, and will be exclusively available on Amazon Prime Video in Spain, the US and Latin America (not including Chile).
Filming will be developed at first in Extremadura and Granada, and, from September 23rd, the team will move to different places in Chile, such as the Atacama Desert, Santiago de Chile, Valdivia, and Araucania, and also different Peruvian locations, such as Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and Pisak, belonging to the Cuzco department. The series is starred by Spanish actors Elena Rivera and Eduardo Noriega, and Chilean actor Benjamín Vicuña.
Inés del alma mía is not the first Isabel Allende’s novel to develop a TV version. Others works like La casa de los espiritus and De amor y de sombras were taken to the cinema, while others have inspired theatre plays, ballets and operas.
