Roku incorporates more than 15 thousand hours of content from blim tv, Televisa’s OTT, to its platform in Mexico. From now on, SVOD subscribers in the region will be able to access the service’s shows in Spanish for free, in addition to its offer of 39 linear channels and 37 thousand hours of On Demand content.
“Every day we are seeing that our users want more free content, and now with this new renewed blim tv experience on Roku, they will be able to enjoy thousands of hours of entertainment in Spanish for free, from classic soap operas, to sports, news, movies and documentaries”, Adriana Naves, Head of Content Distribution for Latin America at Roku, announced.
Vanessa Rosas, COO of blim tv, stated that the brand observed a constant growth in AVOD consumption, and that this prompted them to concrete the alliance. “Given the needs of our audiences and users, at blim tv we offer the option of free content with a differentiated offer and Roku is a strategic ally in the region for the distribution of our OTT“, she said.
