Roku ends 2021 as the most viewed streaming platform in Mexico

Roku announced that, facing the end of the year, it was positioned as the number 1 streaming platform in Mexico, where it has been selling its products for six years, having registered the highest number of viewing hours consumed by users, as revealed by an analysis by Hypothesis Group.

In addition, the company remarked that part of its success is due to the presence of eight Roku TV brands in the country, including Hisense, InFocus, JVC, Philips, Sharp, TCL, ATVIO from Walmart and Sanyo Roku TV; along with the launch of its latest device, Streaming StickTM 4K, which allows the user to enjoy the service in 4K quality but in a portable format.

“We are proud to be the number one streaming platform for TV in Mexico; This was achieved thanks to consumers who have enjoyed our streaming devices for the last 6 years; our Roku TV partners who chose to build TVs with the Roku operating system; our wholesale partners who display our products to the consumer; and to our content partners who worked with Roku to bring entertainment to our users, “said Arthur van Rest, VP of Roku International, in a statement released by Roku.
