Pixafrica and Harmonic combine their expertise to broadcast HD TV channels in Ivory Coast

An African subsidiary of Pixagility, based in Abidjan, Pixafrica offers services for capturing and delivering TV channels, content processing for VOD platforms, storage and updating audiovisual catalogs, file transfer around the world, and editorial animation. To support the growing demand for television channels in Africa, Pixafrica, in partnership with Harmonic, the world leader in video broadcasting solutions, is deploying a state-of-the-art playout infrastructure in its highly secure data center Abidjan.

From now on, there will be more than twenty SD and HD channels that can be broadcasted from the Ivorian Broadcasting Authority, whose programming, operation and supervision will be provided by dedicated teams of Pixafrica.
