Ooredoo has launched ‘Safe & Sound,’ a family safety mobile app based on Smith Micro Software’s SafePath Family platform. The mobile app is accessible on Android smartphone and tablet users and offers real-time location services and parental controls functionality to give parents peace of mind.

Safe & Sound provides an array of interesting features comprising of: Family Hub; Family location; Detailed location history with real-time location tracking and location “breadcrumbs;” SOS family alert; Geo-fencing and safety areas; Immediate notifications on smartphones and smartwatches; Screen time limits; App installation blocking; and Web filtering.

Ooredoo subscribers can download the app from the Google Play Store and pay a 2 OMR monthly subscription fee billed to their account. The monthly subscription includes support for up to five Android smartphones or tablets.
