Ooredoo Oman, an Omani telecommunications company owned by Ooredoo, announced the expansion of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband service to additional locations in the Sultanate.
The Sultanate’s first privately owned telecommunications company, customers in Saraa in Al Buraimi, Al Bustan in Muscat, Al Bilad in Sur, Ibra, Hay Al Kawthar in Al Khoud, and Al Jinaynah and Al Argan in Barka are now able to access maximum speeds of 1Gbps on the network.
Ooredoo’s customers will also obtain a whole range of unique benefits like unlimited data, 10% discount on international calling, unlimited national minutes, and free modem and installation.
In addition to this, the subscribers will get a free Speed Booster when subscribing to Fibre Home Internet 50 and 120 Mbps plans. Residents in areas with new coverage can order through WhatsApp by sharing their ID and location to 95103000, or by calling the Fibre team on 1514.
To recall, Ooredoo’s ‘Fibre Home Internet’ is already available in several locations across the county, including parts of the cities of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Al Batinah, Al Musannah, Nizwa, Ibri, Ibra, Rustaq, and Barka.
