Olympic Channel and Claro Sports will broadcast Olympic content in Latin America

Claro Sports announced an alliance with Olympic Channel to bring Olympic programming to 17 Latin American countries through its OTT, Marca Claro and Claro Video. Programming will be available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica,  Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Programming will include Olympic sports and athletes annual coverage, original Olympic Channel programs, content related to the Olympic Games and new programming of OTT operator and Claro Sports, where stories related to Olympism in Latin America will be presented.

Arturo Elías Ayub, CEO of Claro Sports, said that ‘having Olympic Channel in our programming will be a great step to bring Latin American audience  Olympism values, beyond the Olympic Games’.

The agreement will last until 2024, and will complement rights deal between Claro Sports and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to broadcast the Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games.
