NexTV Series returns to Mexico to discuss the new TV business

The eighth edition of NexTV Series Mexico 2018 will gather more than 60 executives from the main companies in the industry to discuss TV, OTT and video trends. The region’s leading conference will be held on September 25 and 26 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in CDMX.
The event will have the participation of Pablo Iacoviello, Head of Content Acquisition for Latin America of Amazon Prime Video.
In addition, Megacable’s Gerardo Seifert and Sony Pictures Television’s José Antonio Hidalgo will discuss how pay TV via OTT will change the market. The transformation of TV networks and Premium content will also be among the topics for debate.
This year, the conference introduces a new thematic segment on the future of TV and video advertising. Televisa, Grey Mexico, Imagen Digital, Google, Totalplay and PepsiCo will be some of the companies that will participate in the debate. Topics include programmatic advertising, targeted and addressable advertising and audience measurement on multiple screens.
The conference will also discuss growth opportunities and new strategies for the pay TV market with operators Vission Cable, Terared, Television por Cable Tepa, Ultra Telecom and Cosmocable.
The TV stations C7 Jalisco, Puebla Comunicaciones and Radio Televisión de Veracruz will reflect on the best strategies to launch a new OTT platform. On the other hand, FilminLatino, Crunchyroll and Teatrix will discuss the evolution of these platforms.
The event will have two panels focused on the streaming of sports content and its multiscreen consumption with executives from Claro Sports, Mediapro, Twitter, WWE, AyM Sports and LMP.TV.
