Nextv Series Andean to feature one-on-one session focused on Venezuelan pay TV and strength of DTH in Latin America

The first Nextv Series Andean’s virtual edition, held by Dataxis, will bring together a total of eight discussion panels, in which different topics that make up the industry in the Andean region will be debated. One of them is called ‘The new Venezuelan pay TV and the enduring strength of DTH in Latin America’, and will take place next Wednesday, April 21st, between 11:40 AM and 12:00 PM (COT). Registration for this one and the rest of the event panels can be done here.

With the aim of debating on this issue, Daraxis will hold a one-on-one session with Eduardo Stigol, CEO at Inter Venezuela and TuVes HD. Some of the key topics to be developed will focus on the changing landscape of Venezuelan pay TV operations; new fiber deployments in Venezuela; the enduring appeal of satellite TV for rural areas; white label pay TV in the Andean region and beyond; and others.

As an expanded version of the prestigious Nextv Colombia event, Nextv Series Andean will bring together in a friendly virtual format the leading pay TV operators, TV networks, FTA broadcasters, OTT platforms, content owners, telcos and ISPs from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. They will meet around a series of strategic panels to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities surrounding the generation, distribution and commercialization of TV content to audiences that are demanding ever more sophisticated ways to access their favorite live and on-demand programming. Nextv Series Andean 2021 virtual edition will be sponsored by Bitmovin, Viaccess-Orca, Eutelsat and Rockstar.TV, and will take place on Tuesday, April 20th and Wednesday, April 21st from 9:00 AM (COT) on both days.

Registration to Nextv Series Andean 2021 is free for Latin American pay TV operators; FTA broadcasters; TV channels; ISPs and telecommunications operators, B2C advertisers and advertising agencies.
