New TV channel ‘’School TV Africa’ with academic content launched in Cameroon

The mayor of the commune of Njombé-Penja in Cameroon, Paul Eric Kingue, has introduced a satellite TV channel called “School TV Africa” with exclusively academic content. 

The TV channel completely dedicated to education programs from primary to higher level, in all educational sectors, namely: general, technical and professional. The courses are overseen by national educational inspectors and teachers from the Yaoundé Higher Normal School.

Satellite TV is already accessible on the Créolink, Digitel and even Swecom packages. It will soon be available on Canal + and StarTimes bouquets in the coming weeks.

Apart from Cameroon, ‘School TV Africa’ intends to cover the entire African continent and promote languages ​​such as Swahili, Wolof, Zulu and Fang.

 The TV channel is welcomed as an opportunity for distance learning during the coronavirus marked by the closure of schools.
