The Independent Audiovisual Media Producers Association (PIMA) was officially launched in Mexico, and will be led by Leonardo Zimbron, Head of Fiction Programming at Endemol Shine Boomdog.

The aim of the new association is to stimulate the audiovisual industry growth in the country and add all the independent production companies that operate in Mexico to it. ‘We are  ten affiliated audiovisual companies right now, but the idea is to be a national representative. There is much more to give and we have to be together’, said Zimbron.

PIMA’s founding partners are Romero & Braas, Endemol Shine Boomdog, BTF Media, Plataforma, FremantleMedia México, Caponeto, Nippur Media, Litopos, Comarex and Traziende. Zimbron, who will be the President of the association, will be working together with  Coty Cagliolo, General Director of FremantleMedia Mexico, the new company’s Vice President.
