Recording Module 4, which includes the three new studios inaugurated by Globo in August, began operating this week with the ‘Amor de mãe’ recordings, its new telenovela, which will premiere in November, during prime time.
The plot, created and written by Manuela Dias, with the artistic direction of Jose Luiz Villamarim, will be starred by three women, each of them with different trajectories, which are recognized in love for their children. Amor de mãe is the first Globo production to be recorded in the new studios.
With the new Recording Module 4 (MG4), Globo Studios now have 13 recording studios, thus increasing its capacity to produce soap operas, series, miniseries, original formats, humor programs and others. The complex has a 1.73 million m² total area, of which 192 thousand m² belongs to built areas.
The new facilities also have connectivity through the IP protocol. This solution allows the traffic of large amounts of information and greater agility in the capture and editing processes. The adoption of wireless equipment eliminated camera and microphone cables. And the three new studios were designed to operate with 4K and 4K HDR formats.
