Netflix will release the new and exclusive season of the Saudi animation series titled ‘Masameer County’.

It is considered as a new season and not a continuation of the previous seasons of ‘Masameer County’. The eight-episode series will be accessible exclusively on Netflix on July 1, 2021.

The latest drop comes as part of Netflix’s five-year exclusive partnership with Saudi Arabian animation studio Myrkott, signed last year to produce Saudi-focused shows and films.

The series is created by Malik Nejer and Abdul Aziz AlMuzaini and stars Abdulaziz AlShehri, Mazroa AlMazroa, Ibraheem AlKhairallah, Shahad AlAhmari and Yusuf AlDakhil.

The new season is a humorous view on a changing Saudi, and follows the Masaamer gang as they venture into a global media war, a long-standing tribal dispute, and a health craze gone too far.
