Mzansi Magic to air new drama series ‘Doubt’ in April

Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 116) has confirmed the broadcast of the new drama series call ‘Doubt’.  The series is all set to start on Monday 11 April at 20h00.

 

Doubt series producer Nomusa Nzima said, “Doubt is a high stakes drama, with a storyline of many twists and turns, and everyone has a secret that they are hiding. I’m sure that the audience will enjoy the rollercoaster that Doubt will take them on. We have a strong cast with a mix of established and fresh talent.”

 

Yonda Thomas stars as groom Sanele, alongside Khanya Mkangisa who stars as his bride-to-be Lindiwe. Added to the cast is Amanda Quwe who’ll play Sanele’s mother Grace, screen veteran Glen Gabela portrays the groom’s father Judge Jacob, Lucia Mthiyane is the bride’s mother Thembisile, with Nambitha Ben-Mazwi and Siyabonga Radebe as Sanele’s siblings. Siyabonga Shibe takes on the role of the headstrong Captain Dube.

 

The storyline follows the Lindiwe’s personal struggle, when her husband is arrested at the altar for the murder of a stripper from his bachelor party. The show captures her journey to prove the innocence of the man she adores, despite spiraling suspicion against him.
