Nigeria’s telecommunication giant, MTN Nigeria is continuously driving their way to lead digital transformation to improve customer experience and uphold the high quality of services for its subscribers. Hence, the telecommunication company has started the trial of e-SIM services on its network for a period of 12 months, after receiving the approval from the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC).
According to MTN Nigeria, the trial has recently started and will run for one year on a first come first served basis to a limited number of subscribers who owned compatible devices. The statement further stated that MTN is leading e-SIM adoption in Nigeria in order to develop the digital economy as it is part of its pledge to offer the benefits of a new digital world to customers.
The Chief Operating Officer of MTN Nigeria, Mazen Mroue, said, “We are in a fast-paced digital age with new technological advancements driving the constantly changing landscape.
