Movistar Play to offer RTVE channels in Latin America

Spanish corporation RTVE has signed new distribution deals in Latin America. The company revealed that TVE Internacional, Star HD and Clan channels will be available on Movistar Play streaming platform, which has presence in several markets in Latin America.
RTVE also announced the sale of TVE Internacional to two pay TV platforms in Argentina: Claro and Movistar. Both companies are authorized to offer pay TV services in some regions of the country, as part of the opening of the telecommunications market. However, they have not yet launched their commercial offer. It is expected that the government will soon approve the use of DTH technology by telecom companies.
In turn, the Spanish company reached an agreement with Dish for the distribution of 24 Horas channel in Mexico. These announcements were revealed during the meeting of the Board of Directors held yesterday, January 31.
