Motorvision Group, one of Europe’s leading producers of automotive-related content, continues to expand its international footprint.
In Europe, Motovision TV welcomes POST Luxembourg as its latest platform partner. Customers of the country’s leading telecommunications company can look forward to a double dose of Motorvision TV. POST Luxembourg will not only distribute the original German channel, which celebrates its 10th anniversary later this year. The company also offers Motorvision’s pan-European feed in French on its PostTV network. This year, the European channel will carry broadcasts from more motorsports events than ever before and will also carry live broadcasts for the very first time.
Motorvision TV also reached an agreement with Intigral to launch its English HD channel on Jawwy TV in the Middle East. Intigral is one of the leading providers of IP video products and billing services in the MENA region. Its new OTT straming service Jawwy TV service provides subscribers with a wide range of entertainment including live TV channels, digital sports and on-demand premium content.
In Southeast Asia, the group signed a major deal with iflix, the region’s leading entertainment service with more than 15 million customers and provides a wide selection of TV shows, movies, news and live sports and live TV. In a first for MOTORVISION TV, iflix unites the company’s full offering on a single platform country like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Sri Lanka and Vietnam: ad-funded short-form content, which can be watched free of charge, premium on-demand content for their VIP subscription packages as well as the Asian feed of MOTORVISION’s pay tv channel.
Raimund Koehler, CEO of Motorvision, is excited to continue the group’s international expansion: “In an increasingly challenging environment for many content providers, it really pays off for us that we’re a flexible company and own full rights to all of our productions. That way, we can offer our partners the best product possible: be it short-form content for digital platforms, a diversified show portfolio for emerging OTT services or our linear channels with live sports for established and new entertainment providers.”
