Mobile operators offer free calls and internet in Kuwait

The three mobile telecom service providers in Kuwait will offer every subscriber five gigabytes (GB) of internet usage free of charge every day for a month.

The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) agreed on the move with the three mobile companies, Zain, STC, and Ooredoo, according to the Kuwaiti government spokesman Tareq Al Mezrem.

In addition, companies are offering free local calls among their networks during the same period.

The free of charge services has started since Sunday, 22 March 2020, for an entire month.
