US Spanish-speaking broadcaster HITN (Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network) announced this last Thursday, July 1st, a new agreement with the Mexican holding company Megacable, through which the company will include Edye, HITN’s SVOD OTT, focused on school-aged children audiences, as part of the Xview and Xview+ offer, at no additional cost.
As a result of this agreement, Megacable’s clients will be able to access a catalog that features more than 2,500 episodes of educational content, more than 70 preschool series, guides for parents and activities aimed at children’s audiences.
‘We are delighted that Edye is now being included as part of Megacable’s Xview platform, which will allow all its subscribers to enjoy Edye’s exceptional educational content’, reported Guillermo Sierra, Head of Television and Digital Services at HITN. ‘Through this partnership, we are strengthening our growing presence in Latin America’, added the executive.
The partnership with Megacable, joins the one with Claro Video (America Movil), where Edye is available in several Latin American markets. It is also possible to access the platform from the App Store, Apple TV, Google Play and Android TV.
