Majid Al Futtaim named as Warner Bros Pictures’ distributor partner for the Middle East

Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas (MAF LEC) was announced as Warner Bros. Pictures’ new distribution partner for the Middle East, starting with the screening of The Suicide Squad released on August 5.

The Emirati holding company operates 615 screens across eight markets in the Middle East while also operating a sizeable regional film distribution business.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Suicide Squad was released in IMAX and other formats at VOX Cinemas and movie theatres across the Middle East on August 5. The superhero action-adventure from writer/director James Gunn features a collection of the most adored villains in the DC lineup.
